The Frankton Track is a relatively flat and easy trail, suitable for all the family and those new to riding bikes.
GIBBSTON RIVER WINE TRAIL
Part of the Queenstown Trail 'Great Ride' network, this trail begins at the Kawarau Suspension Bridge and winds its way high above the Kawarau River through Central Otago's premier wine-growing region, Gibbston the 'Valley of Vines'.
ARROW RIVER BRIDGES TRAIL
Part of the Queenstown Trail 'Great Ride' network, this trail starts in historic Arrowtown and crossing five bridges over the Arrow River on its way to Gibbston, this relatively easy trail is very scenic and great for families with kids, beginners and wine enthusiasts.
LAKE HAYES TRAIL / WAI WHAKA ATA
Part of the Queenstown Trail 'Great Ride' network, Wai Whaka Ata / Lake Hayes Trail is one of the most scenic short loops in the trail network and is very popular with walkers and cyclists. The lake is often very calm, producing incredible reflections of the mountain ranges that surround it.
QUEENSTOWN TO GIBBSTON
Starting in Queenstown, this epic day trip takes in some of the best bits of the Queenstown Trail. Iconic rivers, bridges, underpasses, bungy jumping and the best and last bit... the wine!
COUNTRYSIDE TRAIL
Part of the Queenstown Trail 'Great Ride' network, this section of the trail allows you to enjoy quiet countryside as you pass breathtaking architecture, tree-lined avenues and stunning alpine vistas. Here, the magnificent colours of the South Island come to life - particularly in Autumn.
KELVIN HEIGHTS SCULPTURE TRAIL
Circumnavigating the Kelvin Heights Golf Course, this trail rewards with impressive views, hidden beach coves and a series of impressive art pieces generously gifted by an anonymous benefactor.
ARROWTOWN MILLENNIUM TRAIL
This trail was built by Otago Regional Council in 1998 to commemorate 150 years of European Settlement in Otago and is a must do short walk or ride when visiting Arrowtown.
